Who we are
LUXOPLUS is operated by Lave-auto Lux O plus Inc., located at 5300 Van Horne Ave, Montréal, QC. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website and services, how we use it, and the rights you have over it under Québec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25) and Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
What we collect
We collect only what we need to serve you:
- Contact details you give us — your name and phone number when you submit a form or book an appointment
- Booking details — the service you request, your vehicle type, appointment time, and service address for mobile visits
- Service history — past visits and services, so we can serve you better on return visits
- Communications — records of calls and text messages with us about your requests and bookings
- Basic technical data — our website uses your browser’s storage to hold your booking in progress and to remember how you first reached us (for example the link or website you came from) for up to 180 days. That source is sent to us only with a form you submit, so we know which of our listings and ads work. We do not use advertising trackers
- Website analytics, only if you accept — Google Analytics measures which pages are visited and how people move through booking, so we can improve the site. It is off until you click Accept on our banner, Google’s advertising features are disabled, and you can change your choice any time with “Privacy choices” at the bottom of every page
How we use your information
Your information is used to:
- Respond to your requests and provide the services you book
- Send booking confirmations, reminders and service updates by phone and SMS
- Maintain your service history and, with your separate express consent only, send you offers and promotions
- Meet our legal and accounting obligations
SMS and mobile information — no third-party sharing
No mobile information or SMS opt-in consent data will be shared with, sold to, or rented to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party.
Information may be shared with service providers acting strictly on our behalf (for example, our booking and messaging platform) solely to deliver the communications described in this policy.
Consent and marketing messages
Transactional messages (confirmations, reminders, updates about your request) are sent based on the consent you give when you submit your phone number. Marketing messages are sent only if you separately and expressly opt in — marketing consent is never bundled with booking, and you can withdraw it at any time by replying STOP or contacting us.
Retention and protection
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law, then destroy or anonymize it. Access is limited to staff who need it to serve you, and our service providers are bound to equivalent protections.
Your rights (Law 25)
You may at any time:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
- Withdraw consent to the use or disclosure of your information
- Request deletion (de-indexing) where the law permits
- File a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (CAI)
