From November to April, every drive puts salt and liquid calcium on the car. Left on the paint, it eats into the clear coat. Wax washes off within a few weeks, so by January there’s nothing left between the salt and the paint.
A ceramic coating bonds to the clear coat and hardens into a thin, glass-like layer that lasts years. Salt and grime rinse off it instead of sticking, and the paint underneath stays sealed.

Wash and decontaminate
Hand wash, clay bar, and iron and tar removal. The coating only bonds to bare, clean paint.
Correct the paint
Elite gets a one-step correction and Souverain a multi-stage one, so the swirls come out before anything gets sealed in. Lustre skips this step.
Apply the coating
Panel by panel, indoors, out of the sun and the rain.
Inspect and pick up
A last check under the lights, then we go over how to wash it. Plan on about 8 hours.

Wax lasts a few weeks. A coating lasts one to five years depending on the package, and it doesn’t come off in the first salty week of December.
It also makes washing faster. Water sheets off and dirt doesn’t cling, so a hand wash takes the car back to clean.
A coating won’t stop stone chips or deep scratches, and it won’t hide swirls that are already there.
Lustre suits a newer car with clean paint and no swirls. It’s one year of protection with no correction.
Elite is where most cars land. The one-step correction takes out the light swirls first, then the coating is rated for three years.
Souverain is for a car you plan to keep a long time, or paint that needs deeper correction. It adds multi-stage correction, coats the glass, wheels and trim too, and lasts five years.
If the paint is badly swirled and you’re not ready for a coating yet, start with paint correction on its own.
Each coating is warrantied for its rating: 1, 3 or 5 years. Elite includes a maintenance check once a year and Souverain two maintenance services a year. The Souverain warranty transfers to the next owner if you sell the car. Ask us for the full warranty terms when you book.
Aftercare is simple: hand washes, no brushes, no wax. Members of Lux O Club get unlimited hand washes, which is the easiest way to look after a coated car. If something isn’t right at pickup, tell us within 24 hours and we’ll make it right.

If the paint has swirls, yes. A coating locks in whatever is under it. That’s why Elite and Souverain include correction. Lustre is for paint that’s already in good shape.
By hand, with no automatic brushes. No wax and no polish. The coating does that job. We go over it with you at pickup.
No. It helps against light marks, salt and UV, but a stone hitting the hood at highway speed will still chip it. Rock chips are what paint protection film is for.
