Do I need an appointment for an Express Wash?
Walk-ins are welcome when a bay is free, but a booking guarantees your slot — and takes under a minute online.
How does mobile detailing work?
Our van arrives with water, power and everything else. You need nothing but a parking spot. Same standard as the shop.
What if it rains after my wash?
Rain doesn’t undo a proper wash — but if something isn’t right, tell us within 24 hours and we’ll make it right.
Is ceramic protection worth it in Montreal?
Montreal winters are the argument: salt and calcium are brutal on paint. Ceramic is the difference between surviving winter and ignoring it.
Do you serve businesses and fleets?
Yes — recurring fleet washes and detail programs. Request a quote on our Commercial Fleet Cleaning page, or call us.
Will a hand wash really avoid swirl marks?
Yes — swirls come from machine brushes dragging grit across paint. We wash by hand with fresh mitts and a two-bucket method, so grit never gets rubbed back onto your clear coat.
How often should I wash in winter?
Every one to two weeks. Salt and calcium etch paint the longer they sit — a regular winter wash is the cheapest paint protection there is.
Is washing this often expensive?
That’s what Lux O Club is for: unlimited washes from $99.99/mo. It pays for itself on the second wash of the month.
How long does a detail take?
A Prestige detail takes about 2 hours on a sedan and up to 4 on an SUV XL. ABSOLUX takes about 4 hours, and Showroom 6 to 8. You see the exact time when you book.
Do I need to empty the car first?
Just take your valuables and personal items — we handle the rest, including seats, mats and the trunk.
Prestige or ABSOLUX — which one do I need?
If one side of the car is the problem, book the matching Prestige detail. If the whole car needs the reset, ABSOLUX covers both in one visit — it’s our most-booked service.
Can you handle pet hair and child seats?
Yes — pet hair extraction and child-seat deep cleans are add-ons you can attach to any interior detail at booking.
Is ceramic actually worth it over wax?
Wax lasts weeks; a professional ceramic coating lasts years and is warrantied. Over a Montreal winter, wax is gone by January — the coating is just getting started.
How long does a ceramic coating take?
It’s booked as a full day in the bay, about 8 hours. Drop the car off and pick it up at the end of the day.
How do I maintain a coated car?
Regular hand washes — that’s it. No wax, no polish. Elite and Souverain include maintenance checks so the coating stays under warranty.
Why do the bigger packages include paint correction?
A coating locks in whatever is under it, including swirls. We correct the paint first so you’re sealing in a finish worth keeping for years.
What do you need from me?
A spot for the car with room to open the doors. The van carries its own water and power, so a driveway, office lot or street parking all work.
Can you come to my condo or office?
Yes. If your building or lot has parking rules or a low garage entrance, mention it at booking and we’ll plan around it.
What happens if it rains?
Light weather doesn’t stop interior work. If conditions make your service impossible, we rebook you at the next available slot at no cost.
Why is mobile priced above the shop?
You’re buying the trip and the convenience — a fully-equipped bay driving to you. That premium is the whole difference: it’s the same flat price anywhere in the Greater Montreal Area, with no travel fee or distance surcharge on top. LUX Signature members get first pick of mobile slots.
Is there a commitment?
No. It’s month to month, and you can cancel anytime. No cancellation fees.
Can I share the membership between cars?
Membership is per vehicle. Multi-vehicle households usually run a membership on each car — ask us to price your setup.
How fast does it pay for itself?
On the second wash. Essential is $99.99/mo against $59.99 a wash, so two washes in a month put you ahead and every wash after that is free. Signature turns over just as fast: $169.99/mo against $149.99 a wash.
How does member pricing on details work?
Your tier’s discount (10–15%) applies automatically to any detail or coating you book — no codes, it’s attached to your account.
